About Sam

Hi, I’m Sam. I’m a Virtual Assistant in Portsmouth, and I help busy small business owners hand over their admin so they can get back to the work they love – and the people they love.

I never actually set out to become a VA. Back in 2014 I started giving a friend a hand with her wedding hair and make-up business, and before I knew it I was answering her enquiries, juggling bookings for more than twenty freelance artists, looking after her diary and sending out her newsletters. Somewhere along the way it clicked: this was what I was good at, and it was work I could do from anywhere, around my family.

In 2019 I took the leap and went fully self-employed. Since then I’ve worked alongside wedding and beauty businesses, coaches and professional services firms, here in Hampshire and much further afield. They all came to me for the same reason. They were brilliant at what they did, but the admin was quietly taking over their evenings.

That’s where I come in. I love bringing a bit of calm to the chaos (lists genuinely make me happy), and I’ll always be honest about what I can take off your plate. I don’t just tick things off either. If I spot a way to make your business run more smoothly, you’ll hear about it.

Sam is a very valuable part of my business and would do whatever she can to improve and help any business she works for.

When I close the laptop, you’ll usually find me out walking Coco by the coast or up in the hills, or simply enjoying time with my family. Working this way means my family comes first and my business fits around them, not the other way round.

And that’s what I’d love for you too: a business that ticks along smoothly in the background, and more time for the moments that matter. If that sounds good, let’s have a chat.
